Loveland Locker Room Redesign
Chilson Recreation Center located in Loveland, CO was in need of an update for their existing locker rooms. It was fairly original to the building and was having issues with water drainage while also needing an update to the finishes and the ability to provide more privacy for their guests.
I was the lead designer on the project, with my Project Manager Bill guiding me along the way, this was my first completed project at BRS and in a full time position. Zach Bisek was our Partner in Charge, TCC was our contractor, and the PRD of Loveland was our client.
We focused on providing optimal private changing, showering, and restroom stalls, fixing the floor drainage issues, and redefining the space to be much more functional and accessible. The main design concept for this project reflected the recreation center's existing circular theme by incorporating a circular design into the lighting, tile, paint, and circulation about the spaces.
My role in this project was coming up with the main design as well as modeling the project in Revit, preparing details and construction documents, selecting and specifying finishes, and leading the construction administration.
